...

A very wise man once said:
"A mighty pain to love it is,
And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain
It is to love, but love in vain."

true indeed.

Billa

Just came back from the movies. Was watching Billa and this is really the third best tamil film for me this year. The movie is really slick and action packed. Nayantare is really hot. Everyone was clapping and cheering when she made her entrance. But her clothing was bit too revealing though. Overall a really good film.

Anyway, they also screened Bheema trailer before the movie started and that was just awesome. I think its worth the ten bucks to just watch the trailer. I managed to find the trailer on the new so enjoy!

lastly, pls watch the movie Kalloori and if u are free evano oruvan. These the one of the films that make you think deep even after they end.

Happy Bday to me!!

boredom + some extras

Boredom is now taking over the newfound freedom this Holiday. Most of the time I spend starring into oblivion thinking ( or day dreaming for that matter.) . If not for my Sister, with who I have pointless and sometimes idiotic arguments, I think i would died days ago because of boredom.

Went to Vivocity with tamil classmates to watch this movie called the Tattoist. It ain't good. Later everyone decided to play pool which meant that I had to do something else meantime ( I'm not sixteen yet.) so played some games at the arcade. Later ate and went home. Loved the time with classmates as it may be one of last few.

I am typing this.

Ok, everything has been going fine lately. dreaded 'O' levels are over. I can pretty much do anything I want now. Recently watched a alot of movies and all of them sucked except Polladhavan and Om Shanti Om. Awaiting the release of Billa and Kalloori. and also Evano Oruvan.

Next week going for some outing at the beach (hope that it will be success.) Next week is also a good week cos I am getting a ipod touch, found that it has a web browser in it. Which means that I can pretty much rule the world!

My Bday is coming soon, and i have no idea what I am gonna do on that day.

Coffee has also become a recent addiction.

Ya that's it.

P.S. sorry if the post is fragmented cos I am in no mood right now to arrange everything properly.

AND PLEASE WATCH THIS TRAILER for the movie 'that four letter word'.

'O' levels are finally over. This means that I got 2 more months to do whatever I want.
Watched A.T.M on Sunday and the movie sucked.

Instead of me telling you how much its sucks, watch the trailer of a potentially better movie.

Deathly Hallows

Finished reading Deathly Hallows last Saturday and here is what happens:

1.) Ron is killed by Bellatrix while trying to get the sword of Gryffindor.

2.) Harry is revealed to the illegitimate son of Lily and Snape. James potter was in fact a death eater.

3.) Harry does not DIE. He is transformed into a house elf by Dumbledore who is actually alive.

4.) The voldemort we saw in the books is actually a decoy played by Serius Black who is fact a death eater.

5.) The actual voldemort is Neville who is also the son of Dumbledore.

6.) Voldemort and Dumbledore had made up the whole story so that they can wait till harry protection spell thingy goes off, so that they could kill him.

7.) Fawkes is the last hocrux.

8.) Neville kills all muggles.

9.) Neville becomes the ultimate ruler of the world.

Hope that clears the doubts of those who have not been reading the books. I think that this book is the best in the series because of all its weird twists. Hats off to J.K Rowling.

A short story

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.

The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."

The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond.
So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold Urs...

This post is too short..........but carries a lot of Feelings

I hate...........

I hate....
I hate that I still think of you
And that I want you around.
I hate all the memories
Because you kept my feet on the ground.
I hate the fact that you’re happy.
Even without me in your life.
I hate that you’re always on my mind
And I’m just a faded memory.
I hate that even in my anger
I can’t and still don’t hate you the way I’d like.
I hate this feeling I have
It feels like I’ve been stabbed with a spike
I hate that my heart aches
And I can’t get it to go away

Stupid English

Let's face it, English is a stupid language.
There is no egg in the eggplant.
No ham in the hamburger.
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
English muffins were not invented in England.
And French fries were not invented in France.

We sometimes take English for granted.
But if we examine its paradoxes we find that
Quicksand takes you down slowly,
Boxing rings are square
And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

If writers write, how come fingers don't fing?
If the plural of tooth is teeth,
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth?
If the teacher taught,
Why didn't the preacher praught?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables,
What the heck does a humanitarian eat?
Why do people recite at a play,
Yet play at a recital?
Park on driveways and
Drive on parkways?
How can the weather be as hot as hell on one day
And as cold as hell on another?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy
Of a language where a house can burn up as
It burns down.
And in which you fill in a form,
By filling it out.
And a bell is only heard once it goes!

English was invented by people, not computers.
And it reflects the creativity of the human race.
(Which of course isn't a race at all)

OK, today went to Aarthi's Birthday lunch thingy. Met alot of people there, like a sister, her parents, rest of the class mates, cousins of joelyn and soo on. It was quite enjoyable and than I went home...

Than abt at six, me and my cousin, we went to watch Oceans thirteenth. Was pretty funny, but not as good as the first two. After that bought some cloths and than came back home.

I am glad that the holidays are coming to an end because I am really getting rusty in my syllabus. Well, thats it.

finally

Alot of bad stuff happened so far.... but now none of them matters, all i can do is look ahead. With that said, this June holidays are starting become very hectic. Mosly because i did badly in the MYE(the worst in my secondary school life). I do not wanna get the same results again so I am working very hard to do better for the prelims. ( excluding this week at least, this is my rest time)

That aside, there are no problems currently in my life. Here's something I found on another blog, it shows how depressing life can be.

So far

Alot of things have happened since the last time I updated. I am just too lazy to type them out now so I will just skip to today.

Today we had out NAPFA in school. It only began at 5 so had alot of free time in hand. We skipped CME lessons giving a crap reason that the tamil teacher called us (actually, this is very effective, we have used this excuse for about 5 times so far.) Than the guys had to do this demo on kabadi for the SEC 1 students so we are played Kabadi. I got a little violent and ripped up a shirt (sorry dude....), after that we played this scissors paper stones game where we had to hit each others hand everytime he or she lost. You must have seen the look on R-T's face when she beat me repeatedly in the game(it looked like that of a psychopath killer....hehe..sry....don't take it to heart R-T).

Than finally went to the library while the rest of the guys went to play soccer, read a few books and than went for my NAPFA. Failed my pull-ups ( i was expecting it.) Finally, came home and now resting, going to start on the HW soon.

finally updating

nothing much so here's a joke....

A professor is giving the first year medical students their first lecture on autopsies, and decides to give them a few basics before starting.

"You must be capable of two things to do an autopsy. The first thing is that you must have no sense of fear."

At this point, the lecturer sticks his finger into the dead man's anus, pulls it out, and then licks it. He asks all the students to do the same thing with the corpses in front of them. After a couple of minutes' silence, they follow through with his disgusting command.

"The second thing is that you must have an acute sense of observation: How many of you noticed that I stuck my middle finger into the corpse's anus, but I licked my index finger?"

After the class was over, it took the janitor three hours to mop up the vomit.

A new update

ok haven't updated in a long time I know so here it is.
Common tests are just over and I just recently watched trailers for a couple of movies. The movie '300' looks awesome, would love to watch it but there is a slight problem, its rated M-18 in S'pore.

Ok that aside, I have picked up some books from the library and am reading. Hope that helps me brush up my English, which is rusty as ever right now.

A engadging Conversation

A real story
I found this real life story very interesting to read. It also broadens your perception of things.

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, the Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Professor: So you believe in God?

Student: Absolutely, sir.

Professor: Is God good?

Student: Sure.

Professor: Is God all-powerful?

Student: Yes.

Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hm?

Student: (Silent.)

Professor: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fellow. Is God good?

Student: Yes.

Professor: Is Satan good?

Student: No

Professor: Where does Satan come from?

Student: From...God..

Professor: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student: Yes.

Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student: Yes.

Professor: So who created evil?

Student: (Silent.)

Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student: Yes, sir.

Professor: So, who created them?

Student: (Silent.)

Professor: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and serve the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student: No, sir.

Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student: No, sir.

Professor: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelled your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student: Yes.

Professor: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Professor: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?

Professor: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have any thing called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light.... But, if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it is called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Professor: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad. God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

Professor: (The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter)

Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelled it?.....No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student)

Professor: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it, sir.. The link between man & God is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

That young man was ALBERT EINSTEIN.......

inside out

Common tests are soon going to be over and I am so looking forward. Anyway, I recently purchased a new MP3 player (last week) and its so damn small and cute. It still plays videos which was surprising for a player that size. I like it alot, hope it doesn't get broken anytime soon.

Chinese New Year is coming and I can't wait. Waiting for Chinese New year since the beginning of the year. Its four consecutive days of holidays, yeah thats right NO school. I will spend like two days studying and the rest of the time slacking (whoo HOO!). Yea thats about it, and by the way, for those who had been living under a rock, valentine's day is the day after tomorrow.

First post for 2007!!

Okay, have not been updating for a while lately, this is mainly due to my laziness factor. But anyways a quick recap of what happened so far.

Had a hell lot of tests so far, mainly being e-maths, a-maths and English. Heck, yesterday I had a social studies open book test and the common test test are just two weeks away. Boy, isn't this crazy. All this madness aside, lets go for more.....urm.......madness.

2007 is is in fact the most hectic year since .... 2000. The 'O' levels are this year for me. iPhone is gonna be released in June, windows vista at the end of this month, the simpsons movie on the 27th of july, spiderman 3, fantastic four, rendervous with rama and lots of other stuff. 2007 is also a very hectic year for tamil cinema. With movies like Pokkiri, aalwar, A.T.M, killadi, dhaam dhoom, sivaji the boss, dasavatharam and plenty of ther tamil stuff being released this year.

starting my revision for 'O' levels next week itself, slacking period is officially over. Also decided to get new cellphone and a portable audio player for myself.(can't wait..!!).
Gtg sleep now, having a pathetic useless piece of nothingness known as the motivational talk tomorrow. Oh, that reminds me, we just finished presenting our english project, hoped that we would rock but instead we reaked. Mostly because the class was not able to comprehend what we were trying to say to them.

so... ya... bye bye....hope that i will continue updating regulary...............................................................................( turns off moniter and goes to sleep)
